I have decided to take idea 1 forward to create a script. by show is called between the lines so the train tracks in this scene symbolise this, this will be the first scene of the show and at the end of the show will be the same scene but extended. The genre of my show is crime drama and a teen drama. I am going to be creating a shooting script. The purpose of this scene is to promote my drama to its target audience to attract more viewers to it when it is released. The script is going to be written in 3rd person meaning we see the show from different views of charters in the show. The extract in my script will be from idea one which is the first scene of the show and there will also be an extended version at the end of the series. The scene is Luke (the main character) running in the woods with his parents also running around trying to find him, Luke has a lot of flashbacks in this script to before he was addicted. This extract will end with Luke walking on train tracks waiting for a train. The script will be written in present tense and also the dialogue will be written for the characters to read out in this present time. I will also use 12pt courier font so that each page is roughly a minute. in the extract the characters will be Luke and also mark and Jane (the parents). in the format I will use the industry standard format and layout.

P2 - initial ideas
idea 1 - this scene is gonna be the first scene of the series and also there will be and extended version of the scene to finish off the series. think this is a good scene to film for me to be able to picture the series in my head. it also symbolises "between the line". However it will be difficult to film this because I will struggle to find train tracks that I'm able to walk on.
idea 2 - this will be very easy to film in likely grammar school because it fits the scene perfectly and the cubicles are there to use for the scene. Also its very easy to film a scene of this in either mine or someone else's bedroom. However its a boring scene at doest sum up the series very well.
idea 3 - this scene again is very easy to film because I can film it in my room, its also a key moment in the whole series so it will be a good scene to film. this scene is a very emotionally challenging scene to watch so it might discourage potential viewers.
idea 4 - this scene is a very good scene to film because it shows the main character and him having flashbacks, this shows a lot about the character before someone watches the drama. However this is an extremely difficult scene to film because I will need to film from lots of different locations and also film a lot of scenes that are different
idea 5 - this scene is a very high intensity scene so will be a very good scene to film to use to promote the show but the problem is that this is a pivotal moment in the drama and it might give spoilers which could potentially
idea 6 - this is a good scene to film because it shows a to about the series whilst also not revealing too much about what's happened throughout the series. but again the main character is having a lot of flashbacks which will be very difficult to film. I also don't want to use the ending of the series to promote the series.
both of these idea are a good idea to move forward into making a script for.
idea 1 is a good idea because it is a very symbolistic scene for the tv drama symbolising "between the lines" and its also a very dramatic, this scene there is a lot happening but it doesn't give too much away about what has previously, this is perfect for a promoting scene because it is an exciting scene that doesn't give much away. The final moments of this scene will end on cliffhanger as well which will cause viewers to want to watch the TV show.
