idea 1
idea 1 is an original idea that suits the BBC3 style of TV drama, whilst also matching the wants of the target audience. The age rating for the drama is a 15 so I need to be careful that I am not glamourising drugs. I have the chance to use younger actors with stereotypical roles to appeal to the target audience and create personal identity and relationships from the viewers. I will need to add diversity to my characters.
idea 2
idea 2 allows the audience to feel a sense of escapism whilst relating to the stereotypical characters with relatable protagonists in the show. I can use a diverse range of actors and record in the same location to lower the production costs. There is not much plot structure and is predictable for viewers. There are no main characters so the audience may find it hard to feel a connection and stay engaged.
idea 3

this will attract audience wanting to feel a sense of escapism with a range of different characters that will attract the target audience. However there is a predictable storyline which may not be engaging for the viewers. There is also very little plot structure. I can use a diverse range of actors with the same age range as the target audience which will appeal to the audience.
I have decide to choose idea 1 as my idea that I would like to take forward to The BBC, because it is an original idea that hasn't been done before and it is also the type of drama that fits BBC3s style of TV drama. It will fit the target audience very well and will have personal identity and personal relationships for the viewers. The actors in the TV drama will be around the age of 18 which is perfect for the target audience to gain connections to the characters.
