I edited using Final Cut Pro on an Apple Mac, I have used this because it gives my video the chance to have the highest resolution and quality as possible in a professional standard.
Edits:
in my first edit I collected all my clips from the raw footage folder that I had recorded myself and also gathered from the internet, mostly from the crudest official instagram account where Darkzy (the artist)and other similar artists are recorded performing a set. And then I put them into put them into Final Cut Pro, I then cut the cut the clips down into useable footage to be put into the video. At this stage I dint add any effects or anything, I just got the base of the video so that I could add and alter anything I needed to as I continue editing. I then slowed down and sped up some of the shots in the video to fit the pace of the instrumental of the song.
After I then decided to add separate clips and placed them into the video to add a jumpy effect earn there is fast paced parts of the song. I also added them during the drop of the song to add effect to the instrumental right before the music becomes louder and more intense to add effect so the target audience are intrigued to what will happen when the song gets to the next stage.
At the end of the video I decided to add transitions to the final clips because the instrumental calms down and is a lot more slow. The transitions are slow and faded to fit the pace of the song. After the final shots of the video there is another faded transition where the name of the song "ur eyes" will appear in a font I collected from dafont.com in a white text with a black background. Then the video ends with a few more seconds of the song to play.
there where some shots recorded with my phone in landscape so to ensure that all clips are in portrait I copied the clip twice and placed these copied shots to the left and right of the original landscape shot so it appears 3 times om the screen and the clip then becomes portrait. Some other shots that where recorded in landscape, I decided to crop out the top and bottom areas of the shot whilst keeping then same width to create a portrait shot thats look like it has been zoomed in, most of these shots are in the drop of the song where i have recorded the shots in o2 academy etc so the zoomed in effect adds more effect of the flashing lights in the club to add a more jumpy and party atmosphere in the video.
I have saved 2 different versions of the video, one with h264, which has been put onto YouTube. The other with apple pro res which is saved onto my desktop in my music video folder.
Nice visual them that matches genre conventions of song.
01:34 three shot looks good, but only happens once. Would feel more purposeful if happened two-three times in music video.
03:38 add title to show name of song and artist.
Use Dafont.com Consider adding more intercut montage sequences of neon paint at points where music has flourish.

this is the feedback I got after my final edit and before I uploaded my final export to YouTube.
I've seen this and decided to add more edits that are the same style or similar to the edit at 01:34 of the video, the shit itself is a landscape shot that has been duplicates 3 times on the screen to make it seem there is more going on in the shot which adds to to the fast paces effect.
At the end of the video I saw the feedback, which recommended using dafont.com to copy and paste text into the end of my video. The text shows the name of the song and the artist in the font that fits the style of music.
in the markers in the timeline I have added a lot of small lengthend clips with fast paced transitions to make the video have a more jumpy feel to it
