Treatment
I will be making a music video for "Ur eyes" by Darkzy
My performance and concept mixed music video will mostly be concept because it will be difficult to have a storyline with very few lyrics in the song, however I will create my video to target the target audience.
The first scene of the song will be introducing the song using UV paint to write the name of the song and the artist. The video will show this at the start the will zoom out to the first scene which will be introducing the characters by shots of them walking into a house for a house party. And after this there will be many shots of each character in the house with fake drinks.
The second scene will be the camera zooming into someone's eyes after the line “see it, see it through my eyes”. Then on the drop of the song the camera will cut to different shots of people partying in clubs and festivals. There will be shots from locations such as 02 academy, mint warehouse and Kookys nightclub in Skipton.
The next scene, he music intensity will be slightly lower so I will have more slow-motion shots of me and the other characters in clubs and party atmospheres in the same locations.
After this the intensity will slow down more and the instrumental will be a lot quieter, so I will have more shots of me and the characters in house party atmospheres with a lot more slow shots where not as much partying will be happening.
Then afterwards there is the start to another build up before the drop, similar shot to the build-up too the first shots will be put in the video with the same locations.
Then during the build-up there will be footage of me and others with DJ decks in someone's house, there will be a lot of fast paced shots to demonstrate the build-up of the instrumental before the second drop of the song.
On the drop of the song the same will happen again where the camera zooms into the person behind the DJ Decks’ eyes after the song goes “see it, see it through my eyes” the video will then cut to already existing footage of DJs performing similar songs to crowds in clubs.
After the drop and the fast-paced instrumental, there will be shots of the characters at the end of a night out where we will be relaxing on sofas in someone's house or travelling home.
The final scene of the video will be slowed down shots of people leaving my house and then the video will end with everything slowly fading away
